Overview of responsibilities: Diary management for Prof Farsides and Prof Smith, conference organisation, composition of interview panels for both clinical and non-clinical posts, travel arrangements, processing of invoices as well as raising requisitions etc, arranging annual staff appraisals for those within the department, and also providing administrative support to other academic members of staff within the Department
