Biography

Luke holds a MSc in Human Anatomy from the University of Edinburgh. Since 2016, he worked as a Lecturer in Anatomical Science at the University of Dundee, with short-term post at the University of St. Andrews. Luke holds an honorary post as a research fellow in the NHS Tayside ENT department and has contributed anatomical expertise to a number of postgraduate surgical training courses.  

Research

Luke’s research is centred around computational airflow analysis of the upper aerodigestive tract, with a focus on the laryngeal airway and inducible-laryngeal obstruction. He also has research interests in otolaryngology and medical education.

Teaching

Luke has experience in teaching gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, embryology, and histology across to undergraduate and postgraduate clinical and science programmes. At BSMS, he currently the leads Module 203 (Musculoskeletal and Immune Systems) and teaches on the undergraduate medicine programme and contributes to the MSc Physicians Associate programme.
