Brighton and Sussex CTU

The Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit (BSCTU) is a fully registered UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) trials unit. We provide support and expertise for clinical researchers in the south east and beyond in the development of funding applications, trial design, study management, quality assurance, data analysis, dissemination and trial close-down.

BSCTU can support clinical research across a range of disciplines that will contribute to the evidence base for the diagnosis, management and prevention of disease.

Please get in touch to express an interest in working with us on your research project.

What do we support?

The CTU supports clinical trials and other multi-centre research in all areas of health and social care. Whilst some CTU staff are core-funded to work with researchers to design studies and develop grant applications most of the CTU input into the research project must be funded by the research grant. Please come and discuss your trial with us early in the grant development process to enable sufficient resource to be costed.
