research volunteers
We are always grateful for volunteers who are interested in taking part in imaging research projects at the CISC. There are usually a wide range of ongoing studies examining physiological structure and function using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and PET-CT. The images that are acquired will contribute to our understanding of brain and body function and help in the development of new treatment strategies.
The majority of studies will offer you payment in return for your participation and in some cases you will receive a copy of the images! It is important that you check the exclusion criteria for the study you are interested in before signing up to ensure that you eligible to take part (please see the information sheet for volunteers link on this page).
