  • Specialist registrar training in Geriatrics (West Midlands) 2000-2005
  • MD student at Keele University (awaiting exam dates) 2004-

  • Geriatrics and GIM to BSMS students
  • Academic tutor for year 1 BSMS students
  • Therapeutics in older people (SBM module)

  • The effect of hypoxia and oxygen supplementation in acute stroke (SOS Study)
  • The effect of blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmias and vascular stiffness on the outcome of ischaemic strokes
  • The effect of community rehabilitation teams on functional outcome and speech in stroke patients in the community (MOSAIC Study)
  • The implementation of the ABCD guidelines for hypertension in primary care (NAAG Study)
  • The effect of Mediterranean diet on vascular stiffness in elderly subjects in Brighton (BRAVES Study)
