Teaching focus:
I teach research methods and statistics to undergraduates and postgraduates at BSMS and KCL. I also supervise undergraduate student projects and PhD students, as well as providing tuition and statistical support for researchers at BSMS and KCL.

My primary interest is in the dependability of measurements of patient experiences, particularly quality of life and satisfaction. Beyond this, I have an active research profile in behavioural medicine, working with some of the leading research groups in the UK (Cambridge University, KCL, UCL, and the School of Pharmacy, London) on a diverse range of topics including informed decision making, health literacy, treatment adherence/compliance and smoking cessation.
