Qualifications
Microbiologist with an interest in proteomics. Research interests include diagnosis of human and veterinary tuberculosis and understanding the virulence mechanisms of bacteria causing meningitis. Trained in the Universities of Cardiff, Aston, Bristol and Oxford.
Role undertaking on the EU TB diagnostics project
Joint Author of the EU TB Diagnostics Grant.
Responsible for overseeing the proteomic analysis using SELDI mass-spectrometry.
