Agnes has worked as a Research Nurse with MLW for almost 8 years on different adult and paediatric research projects including vaccine, malaria and HIV studies.

Role undertaking on the EU TB diagnostics project

My duties as a research nurse include:

Recruiting patients
Taking weight and height measurements
Collecting induced sputum samples
Performing Mantoux tests
Maintaining an up-to-date record of each patient
Checking stocks of equipment
HIV voluntary counselling and testing
Follow-up of patients
