Previous roles
David finished his BSc. studies on 20th December 2007 from the University of Malawi, The Polytechnic. He then worked with Lilongwe Dairy (2001) Limited as a Laboratory Technician from January to March, 2008. David then joined the EU TB diagnostic study since 1st April 2008. While still in college, he was attached to Salima District Hospital, where he was trained in laboratory work.
Role undertaking on the EU TB diagnostics project
- Reception of samples from research nurses.
- Extraction of serum and storage.
- Extraction of NPA samples and storage.
- Results collection for FBC, HIV antibody, and CD4 tests.
- Documentation of all laboratory results.
