Previous roles
Glynis has worked on various nutritional studies in the ICH Laboratory since 1989, doing Retinol analysis using HPLC, zinc &copper analysis by flame photometry, CD4 counts by flow cytometry, red cell enzyme assays and the Malondialdehyde Assay using spectrofluorometry. Glynis has also assisted on a study comparing the QuantiFERON “In Tube QuantiFERON GOLD and TB Assay” assays, as well as assisting in the Accreditation procedure for the ICH Research Laboratory. Glynis is also a member of the Health & Safety Committee.
Role undertaking on EU TB diagnostics project
Glynis will assist in the processing of blood samples and assays, record keeping and in all aspects of the study (wherever she is needed)
