Future Career Intentions

I intend to train in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry, gaining a broad clinical base before specialising within a branch. My long-term goal is to become a Consultant Psychiatrist within the NHS. I have a keen interest in academic medicine, particularly teaching, and would like to maintain my research and audit interests. I would also like to experience Psychiatry in another country, possibly working for a charity, at some stage in the future.
