The General Medical Council (GMC), who sets standards for and inspects UK medical schools, visited BSMS recently for in-depth consideration of Phase 1 of the planned curriculum and were impressed by the progress made. In their report they said:

"The (GMC Visiting) Team was heartened by the progress made by the School since the first visit. The hard work of all those involved in the project was evident and to be commended. The Team feels the School is on track to producing graduates who have met the curricular outcomes set in Tomorrow's Doctors."
