Your application must be submitted through the UCAS system - visit www.ucas.ac.uk. (You can apply online - see the UCAS website for details).

This allows a maximum of four applications to UK medical schools. Applications for 2010 entry must reach UCAS by 15 October 2009.

BSMS has at least 128 places for new entrants in October 2010, plus 10 places for international students.

Your UCAS application will be considered independently by at least two BSMS admissions assessors. All BSMS admissions assessors are committed to use their best endeavours to consider all qualifying applications on a fair and equitable basis.

If your application is positively assessed, you will be invited to a BSMS admissions day, which will include a semi-structured interview with an admissions panel including medically qualified members.

Final decisions on all applications will be made by the BSMS Admissions Board.
