Overview of responsibilities: Responsible for managing the multidisciplinary research activities undertaken by the £5.7m NIHR Global Health Research Unit in Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) at BSMS, across 7 work packages in three countries (UK, Ethiopia and Sudan), and the £3.4m Social Sciences for Severe Stigmatising Skin Diseases (5-S) Foundation at BSMS, across four countries (UK, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Sudan).

Biography

Clare is a highly skilled programme manager with over ten years of UK and international experience in programme management, design, and monitoring and evaluation of health projects. She has a broad knowledge of the international development sector, having worked on DFID, EU and NIHR-funded projects, with a particular focus on neglected tropical diseases having managed several NTD programmes over the past five years.
