BIOGRAPHY
Linda joined the department in January 2019, providing short term cover for the Unit Administrator, before returning soon after to work with the Clinical Trial Manager on the pilot research project PRODEMOS (Prevention of Dementia using Mobile Phone Applications) a randomised controlled trial exploring how a mobile health app can reduce the incidence of dementia. Her work involved supporting and tracking participants through their journey, organising focus groups, interview transcription and analysis, and as site lead on the project she created schedules both for training and site monitoring purposes.
Linda currently works as Recruitment co-ordinator for SPICES Scaling-up Packages of Interventions for Cardiovascular disease prevention in selected sites in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa), a co-production research study working alongside several community partner organisations across Sussex. She is responsible for recruitment, creating procedures to track and manage the participant journey and finance.Linda has also supported the research team and overseen the budget on the ARC project Supporting Care Workers during Covid.
