Brighton and Sussex Medical School are very pleased to announce our third annual health education conference: ‘Innovative Clinical Education: Today and Tomorrow’.

We have three renowned keynote speakers: 

Professor Jennifer Cleland, John Simpson Chair of Medical Education Research, University of Aberdeen

Professor Graeme Dewhurst, Postgraduate Dean, Health Education England (Kent, Surrey and Sussex)

Dr Gabrielle Finn, Director for Health Professions Education, Hull York Medical School


Our conference themes:

  • Collaborative Practice and Interprofessional Education
  • Assessment and Supervision
  • Innovations in Teaching and Learning
  • Leadership in Clinical Education

We welcome abstract submissions for oral presentations and posters from all colleagues involved in health education including medical students, doctors, and other healthcare professionals in training grades. We are interested in abstracts related to our conference themes, but any other contributions related to development of future educational research ideas are welcome.

Registration is necessary for all those attending, including speakers.

Delegate rates

Standard delegate rate: £100
Concessionary delegate rate (eg. Healthcare workers in training): £50
BSMS alumni rate: £50
BSMS Faculty/Student rate: Free

Places are limited; please register early to ensure attendance.
