Salary: Starting at £28,759 to £32,982 per annum, pro rata if part time. Please be aware that any role graded below 5.4 or £31,396 per annum will not be eligible sponsorship.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a data manager to join the Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit. The data manager will work within the data team on a mixed portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate is educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, proactive with a positive and flexible attitude and exceptional communication skills. The role will involve data review and discrepancy management to ensure data quality and consistency; development of Case Report Forms (CRFs), Data Management Plans (DMPs), Clinical Trial Databases and implement data validation and quality control procedures for individual trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards. Appropriate study training will be provided.

Curriculum and Assessment Manager

This pivotal role will provide excellent administrative support to the Department of Medical Education’s Postgraduate taught students and academic team. Supported by the Assistant Curriculum and Assessment Manager, the post holder will manage a team who support the delivery of the courses within the PGT portfolio. The role would suit an experienced Manager with a proven track record of strong organisational and administrative skills. The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent IT skills and have a supportive approach to students and staff and will be able to communicate information in an understandable way orally and in writing. The role will work closely with the Director of Postgraduate Learning and Teaching and the Head of the Department for Medical Education to develop strategies for the expansion of PGT student numbers and courses.
