About

Previous to BSMS, Suze worked within Higher Education in London and within the Community University Partnership Programme (Cupp), a community engagement team at the University of Brighton. During her time at Cupp, she was also a volunteer mentor for Brighton Women's Centre and studied for a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Using this qualification, she spent 2016 teaching English in Spain. 

Suze joined BSMS in 2017 and worked in the Communications team for three years before moving to the role of Equality and Diversity Project Officer in 2020. Her current work with the EDI team includes supporting the coordination of the Athena Swan application, disseminating information and best practice and raising awareness of equality and diversity issues throughout BSMS in order to promote an inclusive culture for staff and students.    

Suze studied Sociology at the University of Kent and is currently studying a part-time MA in Media and Gender Studies at the University of Sussex.
