Biography
Annabelle completed her Bachelor's degree (Cell Biology) in University of St Andrews. Her Bachelor's dissertation focused on investigating the phosphorylation of protein-related to Alzheimer's disease progression. Which led her to doing a Master's degree (Neuroscience) in Newcastle University, where she explored differences in protein expression within people with metachromatic leukodystrophy, a type of neurodegenerative disease impacting children. During her Master's, she developed an interest in using computational methods to understand progression of neurodegenerative diseases.
Annabelle is now in the process of completing the Sussex Neuroscience 4-Year PhD program, where she focuses on using computational methods to study how speech and language changes with decline in cognition caused by Alzheimer's disease pathology.
