Biography

Andreas obtained his medical degree from the University of Cologne, Germany and completed his training in General (Internal) Medicine in Germany. He moved to England to pursue a career in Palliative Medicine and has been appointed Macmillan Consultant in Palliative Medicine in 1998 in Brighton.

Teaching

Involved with BSMS from the start, Andreas was responsible for the development and implementation of the undergraduate curriculum in palliative care for which he still has oversight. He was appointed Phase 3 lead in the summer of 2019.
