Teaching

Penny currently teaches General Practice in Year 4. She is a member of the academic team supporting Clinical and Community Practice in Phase 1 and represents the GP teaching team at curriculum meetings. Penny is interested in the development of GP teaching across the whole curriculum as care in General Practice is a part of every NHS patient journey. To provide holistic care for patients, Penny believes it is vital to help develop doctors who are interested in people and know how to care for themselves as well as others.
