Dr Zaina Zafarulla

Biography

Zaina studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and University College London before completing GP training in London. She is a Clinical Senior GP Teaching Fellow at BSMS and continues to work as an NHS GP in Crawley. Alongside teaching medical students, Zaina has particular interests in clinician wellbeing, palliative care and health inequalities.

Teaching

Since 2023, Zaina has been a second-year GP facilitator, leading regular small-group tutorials for medical students. She is now involved in teaching and developing the GP curriculum for second- and fourth-year medical students. Her teaching focuses on developing students' communication skills and clinical reasoning within a supportive learning environment.
