Her research interests focus on health behaviours and cognitive function. In addition to her studies, Jingxian has held leadership and consultancy roles in education, including positions as a director and senior educational consultant. She commenced her PhD at the University of Sussex in 2025, where she aims to deepen her research on health behaviour and cognitive function, with a specific focus on dementia prevention.

Research

Jingxian is interested in exploring how cardiovascular and psychological factors together impact cognitive health throughout the lifespan. Her research examines the relationships between hypertension, anxiety, and dementia-related cognitive outcomes, aiming to identify mechanisms that contribute to cognitive decline. Jingxian is supervised by Dr Giulia Poerio, Professor Dorina Cadar, and Professor Hugo Critchley.
