Biography

Nik began his career as a pharmacist and progressed into clinical practice as an Independent Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner, specializing in First Episode Psychosis. His clinical experiences sparked a deep interest in research, particularly in addressing the unmet needs of neurodivergent individuals. This focus led to his most recent publication, which aligns closely with the goals of his National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship. Alongside his clinical practice, Nik served as Consultant Clinical Lead for Early Intervention in Psychosis, strengthening his leadership in this area. Through his fellowship, he aims to integrate clinical insights with rigorous, evidence-based research, working to improve treatment outcomes for neurodivergent individuals with First Episode Psychosis.
