Biography

Sam is an organisation development (OD) specialist with a background in workforce development in the NHS. Through her career she gained extensive experience in management and leadership development, facilitation and project management. Her most recent role in the NHS was as Assistant Director, Organisation Development at an NHS Foundation Trust.  

Sam is a project manager for the Multiprofessional Fellowship Programme, having also managed the Leadership and Education Fellows programme, both run at BSMS in conjunction with Health Education England Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  In this role she provides development support to the Fellows on the programme and liaises with Directors of Medical Education and other stakeholders across the region to promote the programme and facilitate shared learning.

Sam is also an independent OD facilitator and trainer, working mostly in the health and social care sector.  Her work involves 1:1 coaching, action learning set facilitation, designing and delivering leadership development programmes.  She works with individuals and teams to enable them to find more effective and enriching ways of working together in complex environments.
