Sam is an organisation development (OD) specialist with a background in workforce development in the NHS. Through her career in the NHS she gained extensive experience in management and leadership development, facilitation and project management. Her most recent role in the NHS was as Assistant Director, Organisation Development at an NHS Foundation Trust.  

Sam is the project manager for the Leadership and Education Fellows projects run at BSMS in conjunction with Health Education England, working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex, which aims to improve the education experience of doctors in training in Trusts. In this role she provides development support to the Fellows on the programme and liaises with Directors of Medical Education and other stakeholders in Trusts across Surrey and Sussex to progress the project.

Sam is also an independent OD facilitator and trainer, working mostly in the health and social care sector, providing leadership development and supporting teams to improve their effectiveness and enhance their ways of working together.
