Professor Malcolm Reed in conversation
The first of Brighton and Sussex Medical School's monthly lecture series, designed with local secondary school students in mind. This lecture series, running from November through to July, provides the unique opportunity to learn more about different aspects of medicine, career pathways, and how to get into medicine.
The first of these lectures series starts with the current Dean of BSMS, Professor Malcolm Reed, talking about his life, and experiences in medicine from his time attending the University of Sheffield through to his surgical training and later move to the United States. Malcolm Reed will also discuss his involvement with Oncology, research into breast cancer, and his experience as the Dean of Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
There will also be an opportunity for a Q & A at the end of the talk..
