Explore hormones and Endocrinology with Dr Anna Crown in this month's outreach lecture.
This session explores an overview of hormones and the specialty of endocrinology, but will also focus on the hormonal stress response, looking at factors that influence it and how it can affect our health.
Dr Crown has worked in the NHS for 30 years. She is a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at BSMS. She trained in London and then in Bristol, where she was awarded an MRC Clinical Training Fellowship and completed a PhD, subsequently working as a Clinical Lecturer in Bristol before taking up a Consultant post in Brighton in 2006.
