Bullying and harassment

At BSMS we believe that all staff should be treated with dignity, respect and courtesy. Staff members should feel that any allegations of discrimination, bullying, harassment, violence or victimisation will be dealt with and treated as a serious matter. If you feel that you have experienced and witnessed bullying, our first recommendation is to talk to your line manager or the BSMS HR Business Partner. The University of Brighton and University of Sussex reporting tools are outlined below.

Student reporting tools

BSMS is committed to challenging racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia and all forms of harassment and discrimination. We encourage students to report incidents they have experienced or witnessed. Ideally, we hope that students will approach the Student Advice Team; however, we recognise that sometimes students prefer to report anonymously.

This form is not a replacement for Student Advice and if you have any urgent concerns or issues you must use our Student Advice channels as your first point of contact.
