What we did

1. Dementia Fellowship Programme

The Dementia Fellowship was an innovative modular course which integrated clinical learning with leadership development and skills in service improvement. It was attended by 102 multi-disciplinary health and social care workers over four years. Read more about the Fellowship programme in the evaluation report here >

2. Dementia Care Improvement Fund

Local teams and groups bid for up to £5,000 of development funding through our Dragon’s Den style event. Nine projects successfully secured funding.  See below for details of these varied and innovative initiatives.

3. Newsletters

We produced a Dementia Care Improvement Network quarterly newsletter summarising the network activities, as well as bringing news from the Centre for Dementia Studies to keep members updates on recent research.

4. Webinars and Masterclasses

'Making Gatwick Dementia Friendly’ - See how Gatwick has improved for people with hidden disabilities in this interesting webinar with Ruth Rabet.
