About the project

Health Counts is a survey of health and lifestyles in Brighton and Hove that comes around just once every ten years. The survey asks questions about the health and lifestyle issues local people experience in different parts of Brighton and Hove.

The results of Health Counts 2024 will be important to inform decisions about what services are required to meet people's needs and where, within the city, different types of services might be best located. Health Counts 2024 is being led by the University of Brighton, together with Healthwatch Brighton and Hove and Brighton and Sussex Medical School. The survey is funded by the Public Health team at Brighton & Hove City Council.
