About the project

There are significant inequalities in access to services for healthcare and wellbeing for women compared to men, and also within different groups of women. Women who live in East Sussex have huge differences in healthcare outcomes, depending on where they live. Midlife is a unique time in women’s lives, when hormonal and physical changes are often accompanied by social, psychological, and relationship evolution.

Women's health and wellbeing services are very important for many midlife women. This study aims to explore the views of women aged 40-65 years who live in East Sussex, and make their voices heard, in terms of their priorities for women's health and wellbeing services.
