GP teachers resources

Welcome to the Brighton and Sussex Medical School GP teachers' resources pages. If you are here, it means that you are kindly facilitating undergraduate students. Thank you for committing to educating BSMS students, we value your contribution and involvement.

General Practitioners are fundamental in the education of undergraduate medical students to advocate for a stronger collaboration between medical schools and GP practices. As the foundation of primary care in the UK, GPs have a unique and invaluable perspective that can significantly enrich the learning experience for future doctors.

This website hopefully provides everything you may need to facilitate and teach students, but if there is something that you feel we haven’t covered, please let us know, we welcome all feedback and suggestions. Please email the team: GPPlacements@bsms.ac.uk.
